A Heartfelt Thank You and Exciting Updates for Our Community!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the public hearing at the Hearthside last week and the open house in Huntsville last month. Your input has been invaluable as we finalize the district maps to submit to Weber County later this week.

What’s Changed?

We’ve made updates to the district maps to incorporate public hearing comments and to better reflect the way our community functions while keeping district populations balanced. Here is a summary of key changes:

  • South Fork and Middle Fork are now combined into one district.
  • Snowbasin Road, Crimson Ridge, and the Radford Hills area are grouped into another district.
  • Minor adjustments were made to unite areas like The Preserve/Sheep Creek and parts of Liberty, ensuring these communities remain together.

While these updates represent significant improvements, we understand there’s no perfect solution. Future changes may still happen as our valley continues to grow and evolve.

A Community Effort

We’re deeply grateful for the time, input, and volunteer hours that have gone into this process. The spirit of collaboration and humor at our recent session highlighted just how special Ogden Valley is. No matter where district lines fall, we remain one valley, united as friends and neighbors.

Looking Ahead

We’re currently doing research to prepare for starting up municipal operations in January 2026. After our research, we anticipate needing volunteers to work on various committees. If you’re interested in volunteering or running for office, you can complete the volunteer sign-up form. It’s a great way to learn about our future city’s municipal operations!

Thanks again for being part of this incredible journey—we’re excited for what lies ahead!
